Directions to the Start

From Leesburg: West on Rte 7 to Purcellville exit. From Rt. 7, take Rt. 287 south 0.1 miles to Right (west)on Hirst Road (the frontage road) 0.4 miles to Left (south) on Maple Avenue (Rt. 722). Continue south on Maple Ave (Rt. 722) across Business 7. Maple Ave becomes Lincoln Road. Lincoln Elementary School is on the left (east) side of Rt. 722 in Lincoln.

Directions for the Norm Loop (~19 mi.)  <——–BRING A COPY OF THE DIRECTIONS

• Left out of the parking lot and head south on Lincoln Road and follow it to Chappelle Hill Road (709).
• Make a right onto Chappelle Hill road and follow it to Telegraph Springs Road (611).
  (Note: Chappelle Hill runs straight onto Telegraph Springs at the intersection with Hughesville)
• Follow Telegraphs Springs Road to Greggsville Road (622).
• Make a left onto Greggsville Rd. and follow it across North Fork Road all the way to Jeb Stuart Road (630).
• Make a right onto Jeb Stuart Road and follow it back to the Philomont Community Center.
• Pass the Philomont Community Center and follow Jeb Stuart Road across Snickersville Turnpike to Beaverdam Bridge Road (746 -> 733).
• Make a left onto Beaverdam Bridge Road and follow it to Leith Lane (767).
• Make a left onto Leith Lane and follow it to Hibbs Bridge Road (731).
• Make a left onto Hibbs Bridge Road and follow it to Snickersville Turnpike (734).
• Make a left onto Snickersville Turnpike and follow it to Watermill Road (731).
• Make a right onto Watermill Road and follow it to North Fork Road (728).
• Make a right onto North Fork Road and follow it to Shelburne Glebe Road.
• Make a left onto Shelburne Glebe Road and follow it to Forest Mills Road (727). [Note: the street sign got knocked down and has disappeared. Watch for the little sign for county road 727.]
• Make a left onto Forest Mills (727) Road and follow it to Ward Hill Road (784).
• Make a right onto Ward Hill Road and follow it to Hughesville Road (725).
• Make a left onto Hughesville Road and follow it to Foundry Road.
• Continue straight on Foundry and follow it to Lincoln Road (722).  (Note: At the Hughesville/Foundry intersection, Hughesville is the left turn, and Foundry is straight ahead).
• Follow Foundry onto Lincoln Rd. northbound and follow it back to the elementary school.
